It's such a nice feeling knowing that you truly have a realtor that cares about your wants and needs as a customer.  That is Katy Walston.  From our first meeting with her when showing us a prospective home, my husband and I knew that she would be an asset to us when selling our home in Laurel Creek.  She had grown up in our area of town and definitely knew our area well when it came to marketing our home.  From learning about our particular neighborhood's assets to schools and near by businesses, Katy was on top of what to relate to possible buyers.  She took the time to thoroughly explain her marketing plan and provided us with a personalized marketing packet on what she would do to sell our home in the shortest time possible.  She did that in only three weeks!

Along with listing our home on HAR, she listed our home on different home websites as well.  She mailed cards to our neighbors telling them that our home was on the market.  She held Open Houses at our home for 3 straight weekends, providing delicious cookies and cold drinks for those who came along with giving them a very detailed tour of our home and it's assets along with the background of the neighborhood.  She made sure to follow up with all interested buyers with a phone call and a Thank You note.

After three short weeks, we received an excited phone call from Katy telling us we had a good offer on our home.  She provided us with very helpful advice on pricing trends in the neighborhood and made us feel comfortable with our pricing decisions.  After a morning of negotiations with the buyer and her agent, the contract was done.  Throughout our option period and up to the closing day on our home, Katy was always available to answer any questions or concerns we had.  She truly provided our family first class customer service.  It was very comforting knowing that we had a realtor who cared about our needs as a customer and wanted to make sure we were satisfied and happy with the sale of our home.  After the sale of our home, she made sure to mail postcards to our neighbors letting them know how quickly our home sold and to let her know if she could assist them in either selling our buying a home in the future.
